These days, the majority of businesses have an online presence and regularly update social media accounts. Platforms such as Houzz and Homify allow us to showcase our portfolio and inspire potential clients and fellow interior design enthusiasts. These platforms, ideas books and pin boards can really help in the early stages of designing a project; sharing images across social media starts conversations and a visual journey begins.
Our in house designers here at Jigsaw embrace being involved with the social media profiles, meaning all our blog posts and articles come directly from the original source. Recently it appears we’ve been causing quite the stir.
For two years running, we’ve been awarded “Best of Houzz”; this means our profile has been voted one of the most popular by the Houzz community. This award is given to only 3% of their professional users. In addition to this, our project, Redwoods, has attracted over 3.4k saves, awarding us with a “Houzz Influence” badge for the overwhelming popularity. One of the images from our Talbot Avenue project also received over 1.9K saves and is one of our favourite bedrooms. With it being so well-liked, the image has been featured in a number of articles on Houzz, often highlighted for its clever storage or beautiful layered bedding.
Our portfolio on Homify seems to be just as inspiring. We have achieved shares and likes on a number of images from projects we’ve published. One shot of stacked trunks used as bedsides has proven to be a big hit. This image has featured in several articles
We have also featured in a great article on Window Dressings:
