Briefing and Budgets
The briefing stage begins immediately on enquiry, we take time to understand our customers’ needs and collate all the information necessary to start the project.
Where necessary a site visit can be done at this stage to get a feel for the property and space. We begin to form an idea of the budgets the client has, however in some cases we assist our clients with advice on this.
This is also a great time to set out a timeline for the project discuss any move in dates, launches or marketing deadlines.
Concept Design
This stage gives a clear vision of the interior design concept focusing on the look we want to create the feel of materials we intend to use and some suggested items of furniture or dressing. This stage acts as a reference point along the design journey for both designer and client. We closely follow the brief and delve deeper to imagine who may use the space and how.
Through extensive research and broad supplier knowledge we gather inspiration and suggestions to build a concept which is presented through mood boards. Generally, these include imagery, samples of materials, colour palettes, styling suggestions and sketches.
This presentation will showcase our understanding of the brief and our initial ideas. It gives an identity to the property and begins to tell a story.
Design Development
Following on from the feedback in stage 2, the concept presentation is refined, then translated into technical information.
This information takes form as a series of visuals, technical drawings, schedules, and specification documents that sit alongside a detailed presentation. These documents inform the client but also build communication with contractors and site teams.
This stage is where our designers will start collating more specific samples of proposed fabrics and finishes. Detailed quotations will also be issued to reflect the design being discussed.
Sign Off
Jigsaw issue a formal, detailed quotation (and schedules where necessary) to the client for approval. Payment terms and plans are issued, and quotation is agreed- at this stage a deposit invoice is raised
Site visits can then be attended to measure up for curtains, wallpaper or bespoke items. Once the deposit is received stage 5 can begin
Procurement
Our in-house procurement team are issued detailed schedules by our designers and place all orders, they work closely with designers and clients if any items need reselection due to stock levels or timelines. Our extensive suppliers list always gives us options and allows us to ensure no compromise is made on the overall quality and look of a design.
Orders are tracked and scheduled to arrive at our warehouse in Poole. Items are checked and logged by our logistics team before storing securely in project bays until install is needed. We have a warehouse which enables us to group and streamline deliveries to your property but also remain flexible on dates. Throughout this process we communicate closely with site to ensure we stay on target.
Installation
We ensure the move in/delivery process is stress free. Our friendly installers have a wealth of experience, they meticulously deliver, build and position furniture. We ensure any artwork; mirrors are hung as per our plans, and we remove all the rubbish for you. Your lead designer will be on hand during the installation and takes the lead on any styling to ensure the overall vision is realised
Handover
We always make sure you are completely happy with everything supplied and if there are any additional items you require. Your designer will walk through the property with you to sign off all elements and deal with any snagging items.

Highwood Village
Berkely Group required a fully dressed show home proposal for a four-bedroom house, which would incorporate luxury as well as practicality, and essentially elevate the space. Provided with a clear brief, detailing the target market for the development along with specific requirements, we ensured to propose a scheme suitable to support our client in helping clients to see the potential of the development.

Woodgate Marketing Suite
A typical Marketing Suite quite often would have a “formal” approach to its layout. One would be faced with a reception desk area, greeted by a member of the sales staff, who would then guide you through a journey that is pre-determined for the visitors. JIGSAW's aim was to flip that concept for their latest project Woodgate for Thakeham.
