Situated between Brockenhurst train station and an idyllic high street, Connaught Place is a small, gated community consisting of nine new houses that have been carefully designed by local developers Hurst & Hurst Estates and our very own Jigsaw Interior Architecture.
With doorstep access to Winchester, Bournemouth and London via high-speed rail links and surrounded by unspoilt national forestry, it is the perfect transition for families to a greener and more relaxed way of life.
As the development nears completion, we were appointed by the proud owners of one of these properties to install a “Box by Jigsaw” furniture pack. Our affordable, turnkey solution for first time buyers, investors, landlords or international buyers, offer a streamlined process for anyone wanting to beautifully furnish their home stylishly but efficiently. In the case of Connaught Place, this was to be a second home for a vibrant family of four, looking to maximise their weekends and holidays spent on the South Coast.

As we were already familiar with the aesthetic of the development, it was an easy decision for both Jigsaw and the owners to settle on The Barber scheme, one of our 4 standard furniture packs. Mirroring a popular trend within interiors, our barber scheme offers vintage industrial style. Combining tan leather, black iron metal and statement artwork, this scheme is a perfect fusion between traditional and contemporary to add real character to any home.

The time between initial contact by the client and installation took 7 weeks (excluding the Christmas closing period). The installation itself took only two days in total and our logistics team were able to deliver, build and position furniture, unpack turnkey items, and remove all rubbish before being joined by Mia, one of our interior designers, the following day. Here she was able to instruct on mirror and artwork placement and dress with finishing touches.
Our installers worked seamlessly alongside existing trades on site each other ensure the home was ready and waiting for the owner’s arrival the very next day.

“We had recently bought a holiday home in Brockenhurst in the New Forest and were faced with the daunting task of furnishing and dressing a 3 bedroom house, not just for our own use but also as a holiday let.
We were introduced to BOX by Jigsaw and from that moment on we have had an incredible journey. JIGSAW have an excellent range of styles you can choose from and even then there is enough flexibility to meet you own particular tastes and requirements. The whole process was very slick, easy to understand, and we were kept updated at all times.
Like every customer we wanted to make some minor amendments to suit our particular style and usage. Mia and her team were extremely helpful in facilitating our requests. Once we had agreed the inventory, it did not take much time at all to deliver and install the items. As you would expect there were a couple of items which had delays, however we were kept updated with timelines and alternatives were proposed where available. Even after delivery where we wanted to make a couple of changes, JIGSAW were able help us with that.
All in all, the whole experience start to finish was excellent and very professional. I will certainly use Jigsaw again as we expand our holiday home portfolio.”
