A stylish family home with a twist on the classics.

Willowstead, Highwood Village

We drew our inspiration from the beautiful surroundings of Horsham and the potential buyers to craft a lavish and inviting family residence. Our vision for this home is one of comfort and luxury, ideal for an older couple with grown children and young grandchildren who visit frequently.

The kitchen and dining area serve as the heart of the home, exuding a bright, modern, and airy ambiance with a contemporary twist on traditional features like the dado rail. Warm neutral tones punctuated by splashes of blue and rust create a bold and refreshing impression.

We also crafted a cozy nook, perfect for indulging in a good book or enjoying a coffee with friends.

The snug exudes the vibe of a cozy yet functional office space, ideal for both movie nights and remote work. The quirky and unique wallpaper, accessories, and artwork inject personality into the space. Opting for a bold, Japanese-inspired wallpaper in the downstairs WC nods to the family’s holidays and adventures.

In the hallway, we used a neutral textured wallpaper to give some depth and interest to the walls. The radiator cover and mirror are statement pieces that create a focal point, as well as being very practical. Up the staircase, we created a gallery wall of family memories along with some local scenery.

In the formal lounge, we created a boutique and luxurious feeling through the use of dark, moody colours and rich textures. We see this room as the perfect place for hosting friends and family and wanted to create a real wow factor. The traditional panelling gives depth and interest to the space.

Our aim for the master bedroom was to evoke the ambiance of a luxurious hotel and a tranquil retreat. The feature wall mural brings the outdoors inside and pays homage to Horsham’s surrounding countryside.

For the guest bedroom, we created quirky space with playful textures and patterns. This creates the vibe of a unique, boutique hotel. The colour palette of soft blues and deep rusts brings a sense of calm.

In the third bedroom, we adorned the walls with a lively feature wallpaper depicting London townhouses to create a fun, engaging, and colourful space for grandchildren sleepovers.

We wanted the fourth bedroom to be a multifunctional space that can be used as a bedroom and a hobby room. We created a hobby room for a person who loves sewing, knitting and paper crafting which feels fun, inspirational, and nostalgic.
